Nokia’s successor to Ngage came after six months replacing it in 2004. It revised the devices physical
design, being rounder and smaller. also corrected the flaw in the cartridge slot, making it more convenient one on the bottom of the device. This allows the earpiece on the face rather than on the sides.
Some of the bulky features like MP3, radio and USB Connectivity were removed in order to cut down the price. Though it ad no built in MP3 player still managed to play music with the help of third party software.
Instead of using a removable USB device the a user had the option to use bluetooth or MMC card reader to transfer data files. The other added on enhancement to the phone from its successor was the “Orange and Grey” theme on the face including a few GUI enhancements.
