The Ngage is a mobile telephone and hand held game based system, Introduced in the year 2003, was intended to lure gamers away from the “Game boy Advance”including cellphone functionality.

Considered from a video game point of view it was known for its screen orientation, a vertical one as opposed to the usual horizontal one. Ngage managed to garner some well known franchises such as Tomb Raider, Sonic, Rayman, Red Fraction and Elder Scroll’s.

The Ngage had a few benefits like the RAM compacted to 60xxx series devices. MP3 decoding with a dedicated hardware chip, with a stereophone output and mini headphone jack plug.
