BFD: Nokia 6100

Its a popular mid range phone that has been available since 2002, but has a few features lesser than the advanced models. This phone has 12 keypads with battery located at its back. It is smaller in size making it a convenient for older people who are fed up with the contemporary phones. The phone does not have the feature for the users to customize the panel and are available only in four fixed colors.

The LCD screen comes in two main versions which are very similar. One version of the LCD is controlled by an EPSON S1D15G00 driver chip, whilst the other version uses a Philips PCF8833 instead. There are also clones of these drivers.
