N95 8GB

About a year ago as a dream of tech freak’s mouthwatering horde featured N95 8GB came into the market.  This review will feature more on comparison between N95 8GB and its predecessor rather than usually talking about its technical aspects. But before all that, it is very easy to make the review understandable in just one single line … “N95 8GB is incomparable with any of the existing models  in the market”

A line between N95 and N95 8GB

The later one has a 0.2″ wider screen than N95, the QVGA display is the same with the capability to display 16.7 million colors. The double RAM in N95 8GB makes it even more faster even more applications are running at the background. With battery being one of the most criticized feature, has been overcome with 1200mAh and demand paging feature enabled.

A Box of goodies

The best charger up to dated produced by Nokia is AC-5 which is provided as an accessory along with the mobile.  The two part music headset, consists of a remote handset and a pair of attractive headphones. Its not a completely small headset but can carry it by folding and pocketing it. The slider mechanism is smooth and easier producing satisfying clicks in all the three positions.

The Real Difference

The micro SD slot is being replaced by a fixed 8GB slot, which the symbian OS appears as disk ‘E’  smart phone. The back of the device has been redesigned with an increased size of 2mm, so as to support the 1200mAh battery. The camera shutter in n95 has been replaced by a recess, where the camera can now be activated with a long press on the shutter button.

The multimedia buttons have now been contoured/dimpled making it easier to press the buttons even when in dark. There are N Gage games, with an icon in the main menu. Other than these the phone supports all features that are supported by N95.
