Nokia linked the announcement about the arrival of Nokia 5800, the 5th series S edition along with the launch of Nokia messaging 1.1. The software is already there in the markets and is going to be a part of Nokia 5800, Nokia 97 and all the smartphones coming in the near future from Nokia. The major difference from the email phones is the support for touchscreen.

Nokia messaging S60 5th edition is in its alpha testing stage and is to score the markets in may. The phone follows its predecessor S60 3rd edition, but with the pre-formatting to support touch screen three large buttons along the of the screen, for Reply/Forward, Delete and Compose.
It appears that there are a few sub-menu options on choosing reply/forward, which keeps the main menu free from cluttering. Composing mails works very fine, but the only difficulty here is the three buttons overtaking the screen. Nokia is happy about the way Nokia messaging is going and eagerly waiting for the cool responses during the hot month.
