Nokia 5230 comes over to compete the Lg Cookie and others

LG Cookie, Samsung Star / Star 3G etc are popular low end touch screen devices that have sold in millions. While the Nokia 5800 is certainly a big success for Nokia, LG Cookie like devices steal its thunder with a price tag almost half the price of the 5800. So the wannabe iPhone buyers landed up with the 5800, all those who couldn’t afford the 5800 either, went for something low end like the LG Cokie.
However Nokia has now announced the $200 5230 that has a 2.9″ touchscreen (vs 3.2″ in 5800), a 2MP camera without flash, AGPS & 3.5MM jack. This would offer something good to low end users who hope to have a full touchscreen device. The 5230 lacks WiFi just like the LG Cookie.
