With Nokia 6710 you can pre-plan your travel. Users can explore their favorite spots browse on the net and upload in their navigator device. Synchronizing the PC and device makes this possible. Additionally, the maps have also been  featured to change according the custom settings the user change, like, 3D support, landmarks for over 200 cities, terrain maps, weather service, premium travel and events content and traffic and safety warnings. For the purpose of pedestrians, the device comes with a built in compass, which has been significantly improved.
