21 Sep 09 Nokia X3 Review

nokia-x6-nokia-x3An attractive device launched by Nokia, to join its X-series family would be X3. 2.2-inch TFT display features a 240 x 320 pixel resolution with 256K colors. Nokia X3 has been perfectly packed and has been announced on the 2nd September 2009. Hope the phone does wonders after it hits the market.

Supports a range of formats like AAC, AAC+, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, eAAC+, M4A, MIDI Tones (poly 64), MP3, MP4, SP-MIDI, True tones, WAV, WMA. The phone also perfect fits with the extra capability that is offered with its 3.2mpx camera, Carl Zeiss optics, LED flash though photos captured even in night mode adorably look good. There are also a wide range of scene modes like automatic, manual, landscape, portrait, night and night portrait which gives you a perfect photographic experience.

Three buttons on the right volume rocker, unlocker, and camera. The power Nokia-X3-Slider-Phone-Silver-Bluebutton, charger and USB are located at the top. Accelerometer is well fitted that the time to swing from one mode to other is quick. The touch response is also comparatively good and quick. Since the phone has a direct access to Ovi store it just brings virtual communities like facebook just in a single touch. Nokia has also introduced a new social friendly feature called Lifecasting with Ovi; it lets you publish your location and status updates directly to Facebook from the home screen of the phone.

The phone is not touch based; the alpha-numeric keypad can be revealed if we slid open. The keys are all well set and are made of a metal alloy, which gives us a smooth feel when we touch.

Nokia is known for its high quality products. Nokia X3 looks amazing. I like the Blue/silver combination. Features are all great. Lifecasting with Ovi is a nice feature. Performance-wise, its good.
