One of the most simple and elegant models of Nokia is 1661. Nokia has managed to push all its most basic mobile phone functionality, inside the device and on the top adding a colored display, thus getting a positive review. The phone has no speaker on loudspeaker mode, but it has earphone with which you can connect to the radio. Also, there is a dedicated key for getting to Radio. The sound quality is pretty descent.
The other most impressing part of 1661 would be its display with just 65K colors support, the developer has been able to produce magic; especially all the screensavers available for this model really looks great. The phonebook can support up-to 500 entries and a call record of 20 for each of the call logs. The keypad is also quite easy to use and gives you a delicate feel when you touch. The keys aren’t raised from the surface but instead they appear to be submerged with the surface of the phone.
There is a small red opening at the right top corner of the phone, which the users can use to connect their hangers to avoid free fall from hand. The phone isn’t bulky and easily fits into ones pocket. In these days when people love to have a phone with multimedia, camera and many more advanced features, this is a real big challenge that Nokia has taken. But I am sure 1661 is good for students and people who have more than 2 SIM.
