Review Sony Ericsson Aino
As fas as the design is concerned, the designers have tried to maintain it as simple as possible. The front panel is purely dedicated to the screen, 3’’ display that can certainly, support up to 16 million colors. The very reason for the 3’’ display is the fact that the phone is a touch-based phone.
With the previous models users had trouble connect Sony phones with their PC and bringing them to a sync was a biggest challenge, but now with Aino, things are mostly automatic, with just Wi-Fi and MediaGo software installed on your PC Aino can automatically get connected to your PC and stay in sync.
Though the phone has a touch enabled, one thing for sure is that its features can never stand upto iPhones, and the other worst thing is that there are still a couple of functionalities which can only be done through keypad. As far as the placement of the keys are concerned, fast port takes the left side while the volume rocker and camera activator takes the opposite side. The top only has the lock key and the back only has the camera lens, there seems no protection for the lens.
The UI seems to have close correlation with Sony PlayStation 3, there is no doubt about it, since Aino is supposed to be compatible with PS3. The other best feature of the phone is that the phone comes with the latest walkman player 3.0. it definitely looks great on the large screen and as a part of the quality of the music, there is no doubt, since Sony Walkman series have been performing extremely well.
