Nokia push mail services finally got clearance from the ministry on which the government has raised concerns earlier. Nokia will be launching Enterprise server on November 6 of this year. Under this service Nokia will be giving all the access to the government regarding the communications taking place through the server. There was a question on Nokia’s push mail services regarding the security. Intelligence Bureau had asked Telecom Department to stop the push mail services of Nokia until and unless it gives the access to the government regarding the communications of their customers which is not given by the BlackBerry.
So in respond to this step Nokia had decided to set up an infrastructure for monitoring push mails. Now Nokia has also decided to set up Enterprise server for better security purpose as well as giving access to the government regarding the security. D Shivkumar the MD of the mobile Giant Nokia had said “We are launching the Enterprise server on Nov 6 complying all the rules ant the regulations in the country”.
