Mobile Giant Nokia has announced that users of Nokia N900 will be given the option to choose their operating system. The choice is between Maemo and MeeGo. Maemo is the original OS of  Nokia N900. But Nokia is giving the choice of another operating system just to know the user experience of MeeGo before launching it in the market.

The best part is you can use your cell just like your pc. In ypur PC many have two differnt versions of Windows like Windows XP/Vista even some have two differnt operating syatems only. In the same way now you can enjoy PC experience on N900 with two different operating system. You will be given the option to choose your OS when you turn ON your Nokia N900.

The MeeGo OS is very crucial part for Nokia and its success plays very important role for Nokia. So before launching MeeGo officially Nokia wants to know which issues are lagging behind in MeeGo. What users want additionally in MeeGo. But hang on this does’t mean that it will be long term solution for N900. This is just for a time being as Nokia does not want to spoil the sale of upcoming Nokia N900.

Nokia even stated that if you want to install MeeGo image on N900 than it should be done at your own risk. Nokia wont be responsible for anything.
