Update: And the existence of T7-00 got confirmed from Nokia Servers itself by now as after reports, many found the uaprof xml as a strong evidence. It also confirms the nHD resolution, Symbian^3 and PR2.0 (browser version 7.3).
Nokia definitely not given up over Symbian yet.
A new Nokia device has been discovered in the Ovi publisher tools. The new device, Nokia T7-00 appears to be the first of what could be a new series of Nokia phones. So far, the existing Nokia series includes only C, E, N, and X ranges. Ovi publisher tools places the T7-00 amongst Symbian^3 devices with resolution of 360 x 640 like Nokia N8, C7 and others. No other specs of the device are known so far.
The ‘T’ in new series might also relate to Nokia’s rumored tablet. But the low resolution restricts this device to a cellphone, targeted to a new segment. The T-series phone could also be a prototype under test. Some even speculated that ‘T’ might be standing for T-Mobile, but it seems unlikely as we seen a new Nokia C7-00 and here that’s mentioned as Nokia C7-00_1 (probably).
No official statement on the device has been released by Nokia as usual, but we’ll keep you posted as much info we can gather about it.
