Although, the Nokia Pureview 808 is yet to hit the market, there has been a constant chatter of the Pureview technology being ported out to Nokia’s Lumia range of Windows Phone. We have already even seen a leaked prototype of the device.

Well, this time we have none other than Chris Webber, the President of Nokia USA and Head of Marketing North America confirming that the Nokia Lumia Pureview is in the works and that the device will be launched soon. Though, even Chris like other Nokia executives have declined to comment on the time frame it would take for Nokia to port out the tech into a Windows Phone laden device.

With the Windows Phone being a great social networking platform with important social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter etc. deeply integrated into the OS, camera technology like Pureview acquires even more prominence on such a device and hence we believe that the Nokia Lumia Pureview will see a huge demand once it is launched into the market.

At the same time it is important for Nokia to understand that such a device will prove very crucial for reversing the slump the organization is in right now. Hence, we hope that Nokia would be able to get the Nokia Lumia Pureview device at least by the end of this year.
