Nokia has started accepting pre orders for the upcoming netbook: Booklet 3G in Italy. With 10″ display, sleek design, 12 hr battery drive, hd capabilities, gps, wifi and 3G – the Booklet3G is surely loaded. But in Italy Nokia is charging $1021 for this thing. Globally the prices were announced around $800, which is also very high IMHO.
Hope nokia knows what it is getting in to.

Nokia has proudly announced its foray into the netbook market with the Booklet 3G. But whats the path ahead? Well Nokia is in the game and all set to release more models in 2010. As it seems Nokia is currently working on marketing the Booklet 3G and at the same time take feedback from the community on what they should concentrate on in the future releases.
Nokia’s current strategy is to bundle 3G access in the netbook with a killer battery life (12 hrs) and a nice OS (Windows 7). Though the pricing for us is disappointing, hope Nokia manages to be the first smartphone maker that bites back the PC manufactures by venturing into their market with successful products. (Yeah we had our share of PC makers getting in to smartphones…)

After too many speculations and the hide and seek between the media and Nokia, the mobile manufacturer has finally announced its mini Laptop.
The netbook comes with some decent features like 3G/HSPA and WiFi connectivity, 10″ display, Atom processor,built-in A GPS compatible with Ovi Maps, HD video out with HDMI port, integrated bluetooth and SD card reader. Weighing 1.25kg, the netbook gives a battery backup of 12-hours.
