Your iPhone combined with a pin code would unlock your home, office, car or any other door that you want to open. It happens to me quite often that I am left out of the home without a key and have to wait for some family member to arrive back with the keys. A little twist to this technology and you could even authorize limited or temporary access to guests / visitors with ease. However IMO the challenge for Apple would be to ensure widespread compatibility for this technology. Its not that Apple is alone working on such a concept, leading car makers are already replacing keys with keyfobs and it would be in Apple’s interest to keep its product compatible!
