Hackers have managed to install and run Android Froyo on Nokia N900. Before we have seen Android working on Apple’s iPhone 3G. The long wait is at last over. The Nokia N900 is all set to be launched in India in a few days. Now you can have a PC like experience on your N900 handset. It is Nokia’s first phone and which is also known as an internet tablet, running on Linux Maemo 5 operating system. 24 Oct 09 N900 release pushed to November, Nokia acting on feedback

The Maemo 5 powered Nokia N900 has created quite a buzz, however the launch of the same has been pushed back from October to November for Nokia to act on user feedback received during the pilot testing it did. Some 300 pre production units were given for test purposes and the findings have given Nokia some work before they rollout the device to the masses.

Last I heard about the device was on the first Engadget show where the resistive touchscreen was criticized. Hope Nokia delivers something good in November.
