Nokia Braille Reader uses vibrations to convey the message in a unique manner. This service can currently be used in the following touchscreen offerings from Nokia – N97, 5800 XpressMusic, N97 mini, 5530, 5230 and X6 models. Nokia developed this technology along with Finnish Federation of the Visually Impaired and Tampere University. But this really makes me wonder when we have voice controls that can read out messages to the users, why do we need a app that will provide the touch feel? Its certainly a great app and a nice job done by Nokia, but is there enough marginal utility?
